Elizabeth Johnson, Distinguished Professor of Theology at Fordham University, whose book
Quest for the Living God was criticized, yea even condemned by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' Committee on Doctrine in late March. If you have not heard about the controversy, all the more reason to read the article linked below and links embedded in it.
